Everett, WA, August 22, 2007—InMediaRes Production, LLC. has hired another full-time game developer.
“The Classic BattleTech and Shadowrun game lines have achieved a fantastic quality level,” said Loren Coleman, one of the managing owners of Catalyst Game Labs. “Obviously Catalyst is committed to keeping those high standards. However, just as important, we’re committed to setting a schedule of releases and keeping that schedule. As soon as we formed Catalyst Game Labs in the spring we doubled the number of full-time employees working on both game lines. The next step was the hiring of another full-time developer.”
Herb Beas has long been the assistant line developer for Classic BattleTech and is a natural choice for taking the helm. This move will allow Randall Bills—the Classic BattleTech Line Developer for the last seven years—to take the position of a roving developer. This will afford Catalyst Game Labs the flexibility of a full-time developer to apply his expertise across all game lines. This move also ensures that Catalyst will be in a position to take advantage of future game opportunities.
