Catalyst Game Labs & WildFire LLC form partnership to print the CthulhuTech Role-Playing Line

Lake Stevens, Washington (Aug 4, 2008) – Catalyst Game Labs is incredibly pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with WildFire LLC to publish and distribute the full line of CthulhuTech role-playing products. Catalyst, publisher of the wildly popular Shadowrun role-playing game, is pleased to place CthulhuTech next to one of the most long-lived, popular lines available today. Matthew Grau, at the creative helm for WildFire, LLC said, “Our publishing partner is now Catalyst Game Labs, publisher of Shadowrun and Classic BattleTech. They print, advertise, and ultimately sell the physical product world-wide. Their expertise in those areas will allow WildFire to concentrate our efforts on creating the most innovative and high quality product that we can.”

David Stansel-Garner of Catalyst said, “We’re very excited to be able to offer gamers CthulhuTech! We feel putting it in our arsenal alongside Shadowrun will give the CthulhuTech brand all the attention it deserves. Shadowrun Fourth Edition has sold over 30,000 copies in print and is still going strong. When buyers from game stores and distributors see Catalyst they’ll see a growing catalog of some of the highest quality, most innovative titles in the market. We are a company constantly trying to innovate and break new ground. Partnering with a crew of folks who are clearly of a similar mindset feels like a great, natural fit.”

Catalyst and WildFire will debut their new partnership at the Gen Con Game Fair 2008 with a limited print run of both the CthulhuTech Core Rulebook (CAT23000) and the Vade Mecum (CAT23001) Core Rules Expansion (both hardcover, full-cover printings). Expect to see these books and all future CthulhuTech books in Hobby Distribution beginning in October

  2. The word over at the Ctech website is that this will mean that they will get into a bigger part of the market like Barnes and Noble and Borders.

Will the ISBN numbers that Mongoose had listed be the same or different? If they are different, what will they be?

  3. OMG Thank you!! You guys are freaking Amazing!!! I love all of your products and Cthulhutech is AWESOME

    YAY!! *runs around in circles*

  4. NiallNai, ISBNs will change; each individual ISBN is owned by the publisher, and therefore we have to assign our versions of the books new ones. We’ll be posting the ISBNs when we update/add the sell sheets for the CthulhuTech books.
