Explore Everything!
What do you do in a world that has forgotten more than one individual could ever know, more than entire civilizations have known? A world where arcane knowledge and technical achievement have been thrown into a centuries-long blender and mixed for so long that no one can separate the two? A world filled with bizarre creatures, deep secrets, and land that can turn hostile at even less than a moment’s notice?
In Wizard Riders, the upcoming roleplaying game from Catalyst Game Labs, you ride!

Wizard Riders, the RPG of motorcycle-riding spellcasters, will get its premier on Free RPG Day, June 27. That means you can head to your friendly local game store (as long as they’re participating in Free RPG Day!), pick up a copy, and get right on the road.
Wizard Riders is set in Orth, a far-distant version of our planet where the sun is fading and the planet is in chaos. This preview of the full game will provide you the rules basics (using Catalyst’s Dice Core system), including things like how you can summon a magic lance to joust while riding your maguscycle. You also get game stats on some characters and beasts, including gogglers, the weird, bat-winged self-appointed highway patrol of Orth. You’ll also get a full adventure, The Vanishing of Dotshire, where the player characters look into a village that seems to have disappeared without a trace.
This provides a taste of the wild setting of Orth. The full version has a lot more details on the world, more creatures, more adventures, and of course a look at some of the arcane tech you might discover as you wander the world.
From the Unknown Academy, which supposedly trains the best wizzers in the world as long as you can find it, to the twisting underground labyrinth of the Mattock Caverns, to strange creatures like monkey-like shibby babies and the night wing, a deadly hunter from the skies, Orth has a wide variety of places and things to encounter and explore. We’re excited to see the stories all of you will make when you get a chance to play!
Keep an eye out here for more information as we get closer to the June 27th release, and on freerpgday.com for other awesome experiences coming for Free RPG Day!
